The NY Upstate section consists of members located in the state of New York north of the northerly boundaries of Orange and Putnam counties.

~ HELP WANTED ~
The Section is looking for a volunteer to chair an
educational committee. There has already been a suggestion to prepare a
curriculum for an ITE technical training session on Regional Traffic Issues that
would encompass access management, traffic calming, smart growth, roundabouts,
and traffic control devices. Anyone interested can contact Tim Faulkner (Tim

Are you looking to become more involved in ITE decisions and activities? Do you want to contribute more to the transportation profession? Are you from the Rochester area? Then you should nominate yourself to run for Section Treasurer! Elections for the 2009 Section Treasurer will be held this Fall. Candidates will come from the Rochester area and will serve on the Executive Board for four years.
